Here’s another artist by artist round-up of what went down this week from the Fortress crew.
This time last week, Wes had only just released his new Late Bloomer single German Leather, which was premiered by The Fader. Since then, the track has found plenty of traction online, with mentions from Okayplayer, Hypetrak, Str8 Out Da Den, and Waffle and Vibes. Those also included a fantastic extended write-up from Earmilk, who praise Wes for his diversity and sheer talent. When not been promoting the new single, Wes spent the week finishing the Morning Glory tour, getting verified on Twitter, getting nods from A-Trak, and catching Pokemon.
I became a fan of @atrak when I saw him DJ for Kanye West as supporting act on the Usher truth tour in 2005. Fast forward over ten years later and a lot of hard work and he's supporting my music ? this is my biggest fan out geek moment ever. Thanks to everybody who's been supporting the best is yet to come. Can't wait to see the Fam tonight at karma ?? #latebloomer #squadthiq
