Back again with another instalment of Fortified.  Here’s how we closed out the month…

Normanton Street

Our English soul rappers debuted a classy self-directed video for most recent single ‘Take Time’ this week courtesy of Soapbox Media.  Speaking about the video, the band said “Take Time was written in one night, compiling bits of other songs they were writing at the time. With that in mind, the video is a reflection of that. Each band member chose different shots they wanted for the video, ending up in what we have now.”  Watch it below, and remember, its all in support of their ongoing quest to make it to Austin for this year’s SXSW, so get supporting here!

Andrew St James

It was a huge week for Andrew St James again, something thats becoming all too regular as he picks up plenty of shows and press attention.  This week his “young wise life” was covered in length over at 3rd Coast Review.  He also closed out his month long residency at Resident in LA with a great show supported by The Soft White Sixties and The Pretty Flowers, before heading back to San Francisco to support the incredible John Moreland at NoisePop.  To top that off, Andrew announced a SXSW performance at Frye’s Frye Days Showcase on Thursday March 17th.  More info on that is available here.
