It’s holiday season and everyone here at Fortress is feeling the holiday spirit. Below is a roundup of some of the things we got up to this past week. Be sure to follow us over on twitter for more updates!
Mystery Skulls announced this week that he will be embarking on a huge, and we mean HUGE, North American tour in 2016. Mystery Skulls will be touching all corners of the map with French Horn Rebellion, a Brooklyn-based band made up of brothers who play a type of psychedelic disco-funk brought into the 21st century. Tickets are on sale now, so get them while they’re hot!
We’re a mere matter of days away from the BOOM-Produced documentary on everyone’s favourite Brighton band. This week they teased the documentary’s release on Instagram with a few stills from production. If you need your Normanton Street live fix before then, catch a DJ set from the boys on the 22nd at Patterns ahead of their headline New Year’s Eve show which is selling like hot cakes.
A couple weeks back we mentioned that Wes had caught up with the rest of us tech-obsessed people by finally getting a snapchat. This week he used that outlet to preview his ‘Photobooth’ music video – which looks like a movie- so be sure to follow him at Wes_dot for more exclusives. He also did a secret show at label and event-legends IHEARTCOMIX’s star studded holiday show.
Ian closed out his tour this week. The band has been spotted in every corner of the South this Christmas period with their annual series of acoustic shows, including the Strange Brew in Austin on Friday where a handful of high profile guests joined him on stage (Los Coast also performed there this week). Ian has also announced that his song ‘Black Eyed Dog’ will be featured on the upcoming Friends of Sims compilation album.
This week don’t miss:
