Wes Period

As we mentioned last week, Wes Period embarked upon a the ‘Morning Glory Tour’ across California this week with Spencer Bonds.  In between shows, Wes Period also released a new track from Late Bloomer called ‘German Whip’, which tells the story of a girl who’s Instagram famous but still reliant on her parents.  The track features Awful Records rapper KeithCharles Spacebar and was produced by Wes Period, and you can listen to it now over at The Fader!


Normanton Street

Life’s Real, the band’s brand new EP, came out to much fanfare this past Friday.  The five track EP, which features single Angelene, is available for download and streaming on all major services now.  To celebrate, the band play a release party at new and secretive London venue Echoes next Wednesday, July 27th, before hosting an after party at the Old Blue Last.  Information and tickets for the launch party is available here.


Mystery Skulls

Escaping the California heat for a while, Mystery Skulls heads north this week, playing a headline show at SWEAT, a ‘nu disco dance party’ at El Cortez Kitchen in Edmonton, Canada.  Tickets are available here.


Los Coast

If you’ve been keeping up with Los Coast on Instagram, they appear to be having the coolest summer ever right now.  They kick off a series of shows in and around Austin this week starting with 3TEN’s event for ACL Live on Saturday night.  See all those dates here.
